Lucy & Chris

They say it's good luck to rain on your wedding day. It was certainly pouring down yesterday morning. I had the umbrellas ready!
Lucy arrived at Vasse Felix in an elegant vintage limo looking absolutely breathtaking. Wearing a gorgeous flower head piece by Chic Rustique and hair by Jasmine Bridal.
It was an intimate ceremony in the little chapel area, with warm words and the comforting voice of celebrant Joanne Armstrong. Turns out we were LUCKY with a break from the rain.. the sky clearing just long enough for some beautiful photos!

Grace Styled Photoshoot

I was walking through the pine forrest, and thought .. It would be fun to capture a beautiful woman in a vintage chair amongst the trees. So I did just that! On my arrival to Grace's house before the photo session, I gasped in excitement at her beautiful home.. or rather mansion.      A photographers dream: Greek inspired, blue framed windows, mosaic sections and hint of Bougainvillea. I couldn't resist taking some photos of Grace around the property before heading to the forest. The little red flower she holds - I told her to imagine it was her boyfriend.. it made a pleasant prop!

Karri House Elopement

A sweet little elopement at the beautiful Karri House in Margaret River. Today was all about the love and enjoying the day together. All we needed was a Celebrant - Joanna Armstrong @wildheartcelebrations and two witnesses. Tracey who own's the lovely premises of Karri House and myself were both happy to sign their wedding certificate.

A few intimate photos around the Australian lifestyle inspired gardens before heading to a degustation lunch in town. After a delightful day, this couple from Singapore could return to karri House, a home away from home, and relax.

Married yesterday on a beautiful autumn Saturday. Getting ready in the morning, the girls had a little pillow fight, whilst not spoiling their gorgeous hairdos.. and the boy's had a trip down high school memory lane attempting to do up their ties.
Bridal party photos were at Ellensbrooke House which holds history in Chris's family.. and was the perfect spot for pictures!

A magical spring wedding at Margaret River's Secret Garden. Sharna and the girl's got ready on the beautiful garden premises, while the boys prepared down the road at home.

Their two younger boys had a cheeky play on the tractor before heading to the ceremony.                             The sun gleamed as Sharna's father walked her down the isle, softly shaded but crab apple trees. Sharna and Mark, once young sweethearts and now loving parents, said 'I do' under the picturesque wisteria bordered archway.

Bridal photos under the huge family fig tree looked stunning with the orange setting sunlight. Sharna had a few photos with her favourite horse. Special thanks to Linda from Humble Horse for getting him ready!

Onto a country themed reception at Taunton Farm. The kids could play on a the massive blown up bouncy pillow. A gorgeous cake prepared by Bake the Cake, with a little personal touch on top.. Sharna & Mark little figures on a tractor.

Elle and Dave had a tropical destination wedding in Canggu Bali.

Surrounded by friends and family who also had little Bali holidays of their own. Elle wore a stunning detailed dress from Hobnob Perth. She handcrafted her bouquet out of blue hydrangea and white dahlia's from a local Balinese flower market. For a comfortable walk down the isle, Elle decided to wear an elegant pair of pearl bridal anklets.  A small wooden surfboard, that represents their love for the ocean and surfing together, was there for guest to leave a message on. It's small touches like this.. that make a wedding - that bit extra special.

Tables at the reception reflected the tropical and ocean theme; like the huge colourful shells and natural green leaves, with guests names on them. After an pleasing banquet of food, Dave delivered a very heartwarming speech to his new wife.

Highlight of the night - Elle's father couldn't resist starting a Conga line, and EVERYONE joined in. Also, thanks to the hot weather, the groomsmen decided to capture Dave unawares and throw him fully clothed into the pool. So you can guess what happened next? .. everyone jumped in!
It was a day of love, friendship, smiles and laughter. A very special day to be apart of!
